Slow Cooker Shredded Chicken

This simple shredded slow cooker chicken is perfect for meal prep! A crock pot chicken breast recipe to use in your favorite recipe.

Ingredients 

  • 2 pounds Chicken Breast Boneless and skinless
  • ¼ teaspoon Salt
  • ¼ teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 1 cup Water

Equipment

  • Slow Cooker

Instructions

  • Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker crock. Add water, salt, and pepper to the chicken.
  • Cover and cook on low 6-8 hours or high for 3-4 hours. Chicken should have an internal temperature of 165◦F.
  • Remove cooked chicken and shred with two forks.
