- 1 head White Cabbage Small, about 2½ pounds
- 2 Tablespoons Butter Unsalted
- 1½ teaspoon Salt
- ½ teaspoon Ground Black Pepper
Cut the cabbage in half then slice as thinly as possible around the core, as though you were making coleslaw. Discard core.
Melt butter in large sauté pan.
Add cabbage, salt, and pepper. Sauté for 10-15 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the cabbage is tender and begins to brown.
Season to taste and serve warm.
